Fincantieri services our commercial clients out of our Sturgeon Bay, Wis. shipyard – Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding (FBS). We are a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest shipbuilders established in the late 1700s and are considered the premier western designer & shipbuilder.

FBS is a 63-acre shipyard open year-round and equipped with climate-controlled manufacturing facilities, computer-aided manufacturing equipment, a U.S. Navy-Certified Floating Drydock, an 1158’ x 140’ Graving Dock, ample waterfront space, and lifting capacity to meet the most demanding requirement.

Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding is a full-service shipyard specializing in:

• New Construction – Offshore Support Vessels (OSV), LNG Barges, Articulated Tug and Barge units (ATB), Ferries, Dredges, Cargo Ships and Self-Unloading Bulk carriers.
• Repair & Maintenance of domestic and foreign commercial vessels as well as U.S. Coast Guard and Army Corp of Engineers.
• Conversions of commercial vessels including repowering projects and the installation of scrubbers.
